The basic premise of buddhism is actions have consequences regardless of good or bad. One's plantation of a fruit could bring alot more joy or alot more harm. There is no way of knowing for sure. However, by making the best of one's decisions, people may bring themselves to a more enjoyable consequence. Buddhism is also the only religion that sees all life of having the potential of becoming enlightened regardless of what their existances are. This creates a much debated ideaology of life being equal. In the acient times, Buddhism is occasional brought down due to the imperialistic governments. The emporers are not amused by the thought of being the same as the peasants below them which creates an conflict of ideals.
